Dear Bruin Family,
Due to impending weather this Thursday we felt it was necessary to change the date our Open House and Freshmen Orientation from Aug. 8 to Monday, Aug. 12. The times have also been changed. Parents, our Open House will now operate as a Rolling Open House where students and parents will be able to stop by the Early College between the hours of 1pm-3pm. During this time you will be able to pick up your schedule, visit teachers including JROTC and Band, talk to *Principal Castillo, the Student Support Team, our Parent Action League (PAL), Transportation staff (2:30pm-3:30pm), and our school Resource Officer Murray if available. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but safety is our primary concern. Our Freshmen Orientation will take place in the cafeteria of CCHS from 3:00pm-3:45pm. Here Mr. Castillo will make his presentation on expectations for the Early College. Lastly, our Chromebook schedule has also been affected and no Chromebook pickups will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6 instead we will open up Wednesday now as a pickup date.
*Mr. Castillo will be making a brief presentation during the Rolling Open House on CECHS expectations for this year at the following times: 1:15pm, 1:30pm, 1:45pm, 2pm, 2:15pm, 2:30pm.
